The donor funnel needs to be optimised at every level of giving, so that you can create an impact on your audience and encourage them to engage in the process. It is important to nurture website traffic and grab the attention of your potential donor to convert them into lifelong supporters.

      There are two levers that will help drive more people to your funnel

       

      1. Increase the number of users entering the funnel
      2. Increase the percentage of users moving from one stage to the next

      HERE’S A MATHEMATICAL BREAKDOWN

      Let’s say in one month 1,000 people enter your funnel at the very top. If you convert 1% of these visitors into subscribers, then 10 people will submit their information to you, like your Facebook/Instagram or subscribe to your YouTube.

       

      To increase the number of new subscribers in a given month, you could increase the number of people entering the funnel to:

       

      1,500 visitors x 1.00 percent = 15 email subscribers

      or increase the percentage that convert into subscribers.
